Age is no barrier to fun, fitness and friendship for YMCA Pryme Movers

Often getting the right advice on the correct exercises or finding a group of people to exercise with is a challenge. And entering a gym that only caters for fit young bodies can be intimidating and daunting.

Yet every week thousands of Victorians aged over 50 enjoy activities such as aquatic exercise, line dancing, yoga, strength training and walking with the YMCA through its enormously popular Pryme Mover program, developed especially for the over 50s.

These activities are run at recreation centres, swimming pools, community centres and campsites across the state managed by YMCA Victoria, whose mission is to build strong people, strong families and strong communities.
