About the camps

YMCA Camping Adventures program is a residential camping program that is held every school holidays for children aged between 8 and 16. We provide outcomes based Junior and Senior programs that are run concurrently at the campsite.

Junior 8-12 program

• introducing the concept of camp, boundaries and expectations
• unique and fun experiences
• new friendships
• positive and supportive cabin and program leaders
• developing relationships and self-confidence
• expressing individuality through imaginative and creative activities

Senior 13-16 program

• leadership, personal growth and challenge
• develop positive identities, values, boundaries and expectations
• activities encourage group support, development of leadership skills and initiative
• develop positive peer and adult relationships
• leading campers into becoming a camp leader
