YMCA Action Sports is a not-for-profit social enterprise that specialises in developing and delivering youth programs and events at skate parks. We manage multiple skate parks across Victoria, including Junction Skate & BMX Park, Knox Skate & BMX Park and Riverslide Skate Park.
Our skate parks provide a safe and supportive environment for young people to be active, engaged and empowered. As well as offering skateboard lessons, we run coaching clinics, school programs, training workshops and even skate parks and leagues.

Action Sports jobs
Program Officer
Our Program Officers are more than just skateboard instructors. As well as running programs at our skate parks, you’ll deliver programs in schools and be involved in some of Australia’s best skateboarding competitions.
This is a hands-on role, so we’re looking for people who work well in a busy atmosphere. You’ll live and breathe all things skate, scoot and BMX. Plus, you’ll have knowledge and experience of skate park culture and working with young people.
Share your passion
Pass on your love of skateboarding as well as your skills!
You’ll get to work with people of different ages, genders and abilities, empowering all participants to learn new things and have fun along the way.
Whether you’re teaching the basics or helping a young person perfect a new trick, you’ll create an inclusive and positive community for skaters to thrive.
